Digital Stories
Last week the 123-communicate team all went to the Digital Stoytelling Conference in Aberystwyth.
We learned that there is a whole new world emerging of people telling their stories using information technology.
You can find a lot of useful digital story information and resources on www.digitales.us founded by Bernajean Porter.

Rural and woodland skills
Coppicewood College are launching their new website at www.coppicewoodcollege.co.uk.
The college runs courses in Pembrokeshire where you can learn traditional woodland and rural skills.
These skills can then be used on the land, thus creating employment and sustaining the local economy.

Last orders will be here before you can say 123...
The 123-communicate project has worked with well over 150 local groups since it began in December 2003.
As with all European funded projects it has an end date which is the end of November 2006.
This means that now is a really good time to take advantage of the workshops we are holding and catch up with all your website issues.
If you are in contact with other groups who are thinking about having a website, we can only guarantee the service until November.
Of course we all hope that we will be able to secure future funding, but at the moment, November will be the end of this project.

Good bye See you later ...
When I started working for PAVS, I was fresh out of Pembrokeshire College and worked on the PAVS internal computer system trying to keep everything running smoothly, last November I started working on the 123 Communicated team as well, which proved just as rewarding.
Since working at PAVS, I have developed many skills, and am now ‘flying the nest’, but with fond memories and an appreciation for all those dedicated to the Voluntary Sector. I wish to thank everyone for their support over the 2 years I have worked for PAVS and as I’m staying local, ill be keeping in touch.
Over the next few months there are going to be some exciting workshops, with some still to be announced, so keep checking back here and logging on to the community… All the best.. and thank you! Gavin.
