In this workshop we look at using images and graphics on your website.

- text as graphics
- compositions (like adverts)
- maps
- movies
We look at images that work, resources and image libraries and optimising your images for the internet.

FREE graphics editing software
The
GIMP is a FREEly distributed piece of software.
You can use it for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.
The Gimp works on many operating systems, in many languages. http://www.gimp.org/
